le mont saint michel. This is a mountain that is dedicated to my namesake, st. Michael the archangle. in the 8th century the local archbishop had 3 visions of st michael defeating the dragon over this island. This mountain is completley surrounded by water when the tide is high and when it is low it is surrounded by various pits of quicksand. the tide comes in faster than a galloping horse.
