"The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe" is coming out on film next year!! That is so cool. I have loved this book ever since I was tiny. I even loved the BBC version of the film with the obvious man sized animals that seemed to be colored styrafoam attached to human beings. It was one of the first books that I bought here in France. Here it is called "l'amoire magique". I always wanted to step into some closet and walk into a world that was more magical and in some mysterious way more real than ours. Well... now i wait in glee for what i hope to be a excellent film... and if it isn't, i will just read the entire series front to back again. 

The european Experience: I bought a pair of jeans the other day. I bought my size I swear. Maybe even less since i lost weight this summer. I go home and i realize that these pants are like wearing a second layer of skin. Now i know why no one wheres boxers here. THERE IS NO ROOM. Well I will keep wearing them anyways. It is the price you pay when you only pay 15 E. It's better than the speedo experience. I am going to return to the US and think that everyone's pants are large enough to fit an italian family.

I got into GRAD SCHOOL. SAN FRANSISCO HERE I COME 

I GOT IN!!! so for sure I will be in Berkley next spring! Well, to all those people who told me it was impossible to go to grad school before graduating, I have indeed worked the system. Thank you god. Thank you karen wood. Thank you Eli Lilly

Chateau Montgeoffery- My favorite chateau. It was the coolest cause it almost seemed magical. There were barely any tourist and there was a huge english park around it
