Today I re-entered the world of technology and all of it’s 7 hells. I got my laptop cord wish was so great. I thought that was a great blessing. On top of that however, I also got into the old testament class I wanted, and when I did go to buy the books, because I had talked with the lady earlier in the week, she gave me one of the books for free. Very cool huh? Then I go back to the JSTB to try and get a book list for another of the classes, when I am told that my ipod came in. I come back and try to get installed on my computer before mass. No luck, but no worries. I go off to mass and thank god for all that has been given to me, material and otherwise. I met some really cool students today from the JSTB and I think I am going to do the choir for church next week. Yesterday I went to the library and I even found some great resources for my research. Coming back form mass however I decided to sit down and get some ipod done. Well, this consumes my night until now. I finally figured out that for the moment all I need to do is go get a usb extension cord. It was frustrating though, and apple was certainly no help. Moral lesson though, don’t waste your time with technology, at least not when you have better things to do. It is good living here. I have a great appt and it def. looks a little more alive now that I have a plant and some records. I start school on Monday and will be gone all weekend on retreat in Burlingame.
ciao
